Looking to score some unusual accent pieces for your home or a vintage piece to enhance your wardrobe? Arlington Flea Market has both—and much more. The weekly flea market has just returned for the season after a hiatus that lasted nearly two years. Considered the region’s oldest (and largest) public flea market, its vendors are taking over the I-66 parking garage in Arlington once again from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October.
More than 150 vendors set up their tables within the parking garage rain or shine, showcasing mostly gently used items and antiques along with an occasional assortment of new goods. The eclectic mix is hard to sum up, but it includes everything from books and vinyl records to vintage fashion and antique furniture. You’ll even find some specialty items, such as gardening tools and old-school toys. Come by in the morning to have access to the largest inventory, or stop in near closing time if you’re interested in negotiating a bit to score a deal on any goods that are still lingering with vendors.
